About Us

We love being active outdoors - camping in the summer, skiing, in the winter and cheering on our favorite sports teams in-between. We look forward to hiking in the woods and teaching our child how to build campfires and pitch a tent.

We imagine snow plowing down the hills and warming up with steaming hot chocolate in the chalet. We are excited to cheer on the Twins and scream at Vikings games as a family - whether we watch them at home or in the Dome.

Our Promises to our Children

We promise to guide our children, sharing the lessons that have helped us in life. We promise to support, encourage, and help them to discover their individual passions and all of the happiness that life has to offer. We will support them wholly on this journey. Most of all, we ill provide them with our absolute, unconditional love.

Our Families

Pete is the youngest of 11 with 15 nieces and nephews. Family events are always energetic and exciting whether it's a holiday, bowling, or a cabin get away. During the summer there may be a game of Homerun Derby. Holiday traditions include running a charity 5k on Thanksgiving morning and ice skating on Christmas Day.

Emily is the youngest of 4 with 2 nieces. Family events still manage to be just as lively as Pete's. There is usually a football game or video trivia game playing in the background. The winner depends upon the trivia topic. Last count, Emily was seriously kicking some butt on the movie trivia - much to the surprise of her brothers who generally speak in movie quotes.

Our Zoo

Our zoo includes some four-legged friends. Chester and Fritz are our cats. Chester is very social and we think he thinks he's a dog. Fritz is much less social but loves to snuggle when he gets the chance. They are great buddies.

Henry is our Chocolate Lab. When we saw him at the Humane Society, our hearts melted and we knew we had to adopt him and make him part of our family. He's now 1 1/2 years old. He loves to run and play and is still learning to fetch. He's a happy go lucky boy.
